USA: Mister Car Wash divests its Mister Oil Change Express business
Valvoline Instant Oil Change acquired the 27 Mister Oil Change Express locations, as Mister Car Wash intends to focus on car wash growth in 2021.
Mister Car Wash, the United States’ largest car wash company, announced the sale of its 27 Mister Oil Change Express locations to Valvoline Instant Oil Change in a transaction that closed December 11, 2020, according to a company’s press release.
The divestiture positions Mister Car Wash to focus on expanding its car washes through new build locations and acquisitions in 2021, according to President and CEO of Mister Car Wash, John Lai.
Headquartered in Tucson, Arizona, Mister Car Wash operates 340 car washes in 21 states.
