Virši invests €2.4M in new Riga Bypass station
The site features a 160 m² store with both indoor and outdoor rest areas alongside traditional fueling services and EV charging capabilities.
Latvian fuel retailer Virši unveiled its latest service station in Ķekava, located in the “Jaungaņģi” area along the Riga Bypass.
The company invested €2.4 million in developing the new facility, which provides a convenient stopping point for vehicles traveling on the busy bypass. Featuring a 160 m² store, the fueling facility also includes both indoor and outdoor rest areas for customers to relax during their travels.
Apart from traditional petrol, diesel and AdBlue fuel products, the site is also equipped with two electric vehicle charging points with a combined capacity of 200 kW.
“This new service station marks our ninth outlet opened this year, and its prime location at the intersection of the Riga Bypass and the Ķekava Bypass will be a key asset. We are confident that this location, combined with our high-quality products, will continue to build the trust of both private and corporate customers and further fuel the growth of Virši,” said Jānis Vība, Chairman of the Management Board of Virši.
The service station is designed to accommodate up to 13 cars and six trucks, with a spacious parking area for customers.
This new investment underscores Virši’s commitment to expanding its infrastructure and meeting the evolving demands of both traditional and electric vehicle users across Latvia.
