Vivo Energy Mauritius opens new service station
The Shell franchisee is increasing its network to 51 stations in the African country.
A Shell service station is now operational on the Terre-Rouge Verdun Highway. Vivo Energy Mauritius, owner of the Shell franchise, is increasing its network to 51 stations in the African country.
The new service station is expected to serve an increasing flow of vehicles, especially since the axis is now better equipped for safe and fast traffic between the centre and the north of the island.
The Shell Valton service station has a shop and three new pumps to supply customers. They will also find the full range of Shell lubricants as well as the classic blue gas cylinders and Gas Lite, the lightweight composite cylinders.
"In a mature market, Shell continues to invest to support its customers by listening to their needs. Being present on the new transit routes is an imperative for Vivo Energy Mauritius," explains Matthias de Larminat, Managing Director of Vivo Energy Mauritius.
"With 51 stations, Shell holds almost a third of the Mauritian network, demonstrating its commitment to provide daily comfort with a Shell station within 10 minutes for more than 80% of the population,” he added.
Beyond its network and service quality, Shell has recently updated its loyalty programme with the launch of the Shell Mauritius mobile application.
