Walmart's latest Neighborhood Market bets on fresh food
The roughly 4,500 m² store in Crestview, Florida, adds 166 jobs, a pharmacy and fuel, and offers Express Delivery in as little as 30 minutes.
Walmart has opened a new Neighborhood Market on the north side of Crestview, Florida. The retailer’s latest convenience store location covers about 4,500 m² and is the company's seventh new location in the state since September 2025.
Customers can shop in the store or use pickup or delivery, with Express Delivery arriving in as little as 30 minutes. The site uses Walmart's next-generation design, which has wider aisles, clear signage and a simpler checkout. With fresh food as the focus, the range includes sushi prepared in-store, fresh-cut fruit, ready-to-eat meals and fresh tortillas, along with floral services and custom cake decorating.
"We're proud to open our doors and begin serving the Crestview community," said Store Manager Kwadwo Kyeremeh. Mayor J.B. Whitten added: "This is something our growing community has needed, and it will give residents a convenient place to shop close to home."
The opening is part of Walmart's broader investment in Florida. The company has put more than $1.5 billion into its stores there over the past five years and plans to remodel 58 of them in 2026. At the launch event, it also gave $18,500 in grants to six local organizations, including the Crestview Area Shelter for the Homeless and the Crestview High School Band.
