Dutch Military modernises company filling stations with Hectronic

In the last decades, the requirements on a modern army have changed. What is already a matter of course in successful companies will in future also characterise the armies. Modern armies rely on smooth logistics processes in all fields, including the fuelling of military vehicles.
In view of this, the Dutch army has realized that they have to invest in a new and modern refuelling solution for its vehicles. All in all there are 33 barracks across the entire country which has to be modernized. The filling stations at the barracks are unattended filling stations very similar to those at public transportation companies or large freight forwarding contractors. The objective of the project is to make the filling process for the military vehicles easy, transparent and fast. Beyond that they need a tank management system to comprehend the inventory of all tanks directly from the headquarter. Through this they want to improve their delivery behaviour.
Solution
To reach these goals the army has equipped a total of 33 barracks with the fuel terminal TA2331 Compact in a customized housing and the tank management system OptiLevel from Hectronic. With the assistance of the practical filling station management software HecPoll, the military headquarter can in future not only follow the fuelling processes of the military vehicles but also the fuel deliveries.
The installation of the system and the after-sales service are provided by our Dutch sales partner Hamer Installatietechniek BV.
Result
Due to this modernisation, the army expects annual service and maintenance cost savings of 50,000 euros.
