24-Autohöfe opens Germany’s most diverse fast charging hub
New site near Frankfurt offers 44 ultra-fast charging points from six operators, with further expansion planned for electric truck infrastructure.
24-Autohöfe has opened a new high-power charging (HPC) park at its Neuberg motorway service area on the A45 near Frankfurt, bringing together 44 ultra-fast charging points from six charging operators at a single location. According to the company, the site offers the widest variety of HPC providers available at one charging hub in Germany.
The charging park includes infrastructure from EnBW, Electra, Allego, Ionity, Mercedes-Benz High-Power Charging and Tesla. Located about 20 km north of Frankfurt, the site is designed to serve both long-distance travelers and regional electric vehicle drivers.
The opening also marked new partnerships between 24-Autohöfe and charging operators EnBW and Electra. Additional projects with both companies are already under construction following earlier deployments at other motorway service locations.
“Motorway service areas are among the most efficient locations for expanding alternative fuel infrastructure,” said Roxanne Ruscheinsky, Head of Strategy and Future Mobility at 24-Autohöfe. “With EnBW and Electra, we are expanding the offering with two strong European operators and creating even more choice for our guests.”
The company said future development phases will focus on charging infrastructure for battery-electric heavy-duty vehicles. Plans also include the development of adjacent commercial space at the site.
