ADNOC Distribution opens UAE’s largest EV charging hub

The flagship site features 60 high-speed chargers and sets the stage for a nationwide EV infrastructure rollout.

ADNOC Distribution has launched the region’s largest superfast electric vehicle (EV) charging hub on the E11 highway connecting Abu Dhabi and Dubai. The site, equipped with 60 high-speed chargers, ranks among the largest globally and is designed to support growing EV adoption across the country, marking a major milestone in the UAE’s transition to electric mobility.

Branded as the ADNOC EV Megahub, the facility is integrated within “The Hub by ADNOC,” a commuter-focused destination combining EV charging with retail and essential services. The concept aims to redefine roadside convenience by offering drivers a seamless experience that blends energy, shopping, and travel needs in one stop.

This launch is the first step in the company’s roadmap to electrify the UAE’s highways. The fuel giant plans to develop 20 EV hubs nationwide by 2027, with 15 scheduled for completion by the end of 2026. This expansion aligns with the UAE’s broader sustainability goals and its commitment to building future-ready infrastructure for zero-emission transport.

As EV adoption accelerates, ADNOC Distribution sees integrated charging and retail destinations as critical to enabling confident long-distance travel and supporting the country’s energy transition.
