Aral pulse expands ultra-fast charging network in Germany
The company opened two new charging stations in both Gera and Bochum to expand charging capabilities.
Aral pulse continues its network expansion in Germany with two new ultra-fast charging stations established in both Gera and Bochum.
Three new ultra-fast chargers, each equipped with two charging points, have been launched at the service station in Gera. These chargers offer a power output of up to 300 kilowatts (kW), enabling most electric vehicles (EVs) to gain up to 300 kilometers of range within just 10 minutes.
The company prioritizes ultra-fast charging and reliability, positioning itself as a market leader, as it was ranked first two years in a row in the 2024 Connect charging network test.
"We now operate approximately 3,400 charging points across nearly 500 locations, making us one of Germany’s largest fast-charging providers. Further expansion is on the horizon," said Alexander Junge, Aral’s Board Member for E-Mobility.
In addition to Gera, the company strengthened its network in its hometown of Bochum, with two new ultra-fast chargers with two charging points.
This has increased the site’s capacity to four charging stations with a total of eight charging points, featuring the same charging capabilities as the ones in Gera.
With the latest expansions, Aral pulse continues to push forward in the ultra-fast charging sector, providing a reliable and efficient network for EV drivers across Germany.
