Aral renews partnership with PAYBACK
Approximately 31 million active users of the platform can now collect points across 2,400 service stations.
Aral has been cooperating with PAYBACK for over 18 years and has recently extended its partnership to provide more convenience for customers.
Around 31 million users can reward themselves with points at any of the retailer’s 2,400 outlets throughout Germany. Points can be collected through the PAYBACK card or app, the latter of which has a mobile payment option that allows customers to pay directly at the pump.
Points can also be redeemed directly when paying at the station or for attractive rewards at any location, as the meinAral app can also be linked to the PAYBACK account.
“In Aral's 100th anniversary year, we are extending our successful cooperation with PAYBACK. We want to continue to make collecting points at Aral petrol stations as easy as possible,” explains Achim Bothe, CEO of Aral.
PAYBACK points can be collected and redeemed through all current and future fuels, including the new truck fuel Aral HVO, for charging processes at the more than 3,000 Aral pulse charging points. Currently, customers receive one point for two liters of fuel, two kilowatt hours of electricity or €1 spent in the store at participating stations.
PAYBACK’s loyalty program, the store expansion and investments in modern portal car washes are all part of bp's worldwide convenience strategy. The company aims to expand its strategic convenience locations to around 3,500 by 2030.
