Carrefour Express opens 4000th store
The number of Carrefour stores has now reached 4,000 with the opening of Carrefour Express in Montpellier, France.
The 180-square-meter convenience store is located in the center of Montpellier and offers a complete selection of nearly 3,500 products for day-to-day shopping trips such as groceries, fresh produce, organic products, baked products, home maintenance, ready-to-eat products, etc.
"Carrefour’s convenience stores are designed to make the lives of people living in cities easier – particularly with their long opening times," stated a company release.
Likewise, the desire to provide a true local service to the people of Montpellier has driven its shop manager M’hamed Mellouki to open this retail outlet.
