Circle K opens its 100th shop in the Netherlands
The milestone comes around two and a half years after the convenience retailer converted its first TotalEnergies forecourt shop in the country to the Circle K brand.
Circle K has opened its 100th shop in the Netherlands. The company credited the milestone to the commitment and energy of its staff and said more Dutch locations will follow.
The retailer’s Dutch offer centres on promotions and value: quality products at attractive prices when customers need them, from coffee with a freshly prepared sandwich to a cold drink for the road. Sharp deals and loyalty benefits are designed to make a stop at Circle K both convenient and rewarding.
“100 shops is a milestone to be proud of. And we are continuing, with more and more Circle K locations in the Netherlands and one clear goal: offering our customers more convenience and value every day,” the company said.
Circle K opened its first Dutch forecourt shop in March 2024 at the TotalEnergies station on the A12 at Bijleveld, replacing the former Bonjour shop. Under the arrangement, shop and car wash activities are converted to Circle K concepts, while the stations and fuels remain under the TotalEnergies brand for now.
Around 250 petrol stations in the Netherlands are set to receive the shop format. That number could grow further, as the modular concept is also available to dealer-operated sites.
