DKV Mobility launches dedicated charge card for electric truck fleets
New solution provides access to 3,000+ truck-compatible charging points across 17 European countries.
DKV Mobility has introduced a new charge card tailored specifically for electric commercial vehicles, targeting the growing needs of transport operators transitioning to zero-emission fleets. The DKV Card +Charge Truck offers access to more than 3,000 verified truck-compatible charging points across over 17 countries in Europe.
The launch expands DKV Mobility’s e-mobility portfolio and supports its strategy to simplify the transition to alternative drivetrains in the road freight sector. While electrification is already well established in passenger vehicles, it remains at an earlier stage in heavy-duty transport, where infrastructure and operational complexity continue to pose challenges.
The new card is designed to streamline energy management for fleet operators by integrating multiple services into a single solution. It enables access to both electric charging and conventional fuel payments, consolidated into one card and a unified invoice.

To ensure reliability for heavy-duty vehicles, DKV Mobility has established strict criteria for stations included in the network. These include minimum clearance heights, wide access for maneuvering, and sufficient space for long vehicles. The majority of the network also supports high-power charging, with more than 80% of locations offering speeds above 300 kW.
The card integrates with the DKV Mobility app, providing real-time information on pricing, availability and charging conditions. Operators can monitor costs and usage transparently, improving route planning and operational efficiency.
