Electrify America extends partnership with Lyft
Electric vehicle drivers of the mobility platform will get access to discounted ultra-fast charging services through the network’s app.
Electrify America and Lyft announced an extension of their collaboration to provide drivers on the mobility app utilizing electric vehicles (EVs) with discounted charging at the network’s stations across the United States.
Under the premium charging agreement, active and eligible drivers on Lyft will receive a tiered discount on Electrify America Pass pricing for DC Fast charging across the entire network. The charging agreement is a loyalty benefit for Lyft Rewards drivers—the more they drive, the more they save.
In addition, a DC Fast Charging discount is offered to all active drivers on the platform using a capable EV, and is available at stations with energy and time-based pricing.
“Not only will drivers on Lyft enjoy the advantages of Electrify America’s ultra-fast and convenient charging network, but by using the new benefits, they can also quickly get back on the road to transport passengers to their destinations in a more sustainable way,” said Robert Barrosa, president and CEO of Electrify America.
To activate their eligible discount, drivers will need to obtain an enrollment code from Lyft, and establish an Electrify America account to complete the Premium Offer enrollment through the Electrify mobile app. In addition, drivers can use the app to locate nearby charging stations, check charger availability, and navigate to the charging stations.
