Emarat launches GCC’s first EV service center in Dubai
New “Al Buhaira” station in Al Barsha South integrates fuel, retail, and EV maintenance under one roof.
Emirates Petroleum Company has opened its 158th service station in Al Barsha South, introducing the GCC’s first dedicated electric vehicle service center and expanding the company’s presence in New Dubai.
Developed in partnership with EVS – Electric Vehicle Services, the new EV Service Center is part of a pilot program to integrate electric vehicle maintenance and diagnostics into Emarat’s existing Lube Express network.
Under the agreement, EVS will operate “EVS Express Service Bays” inside Emarat stations, while the fuel retailer provides infrastructure, utilities, and customer-flow management. Pilot sites include Al Barsha South, Nahrawan in Dubai, and Muwafjah in Sharjah.
“Al Buhaira marks two milestones for Emarat: a flagship addition to our New Dubai network and the GCC’s first Electric Vehicle Service Center,” said H.E. Ali Khalifa Al Shamsi, CEO of Emarat as reported by Zawya. “By partnering with EVS and integrating EV quick-service within our Lube Express model, we are extending Emarat’s promise of safety, quality and convenience to every driver—regular or electric—while supporting the UAE’s clean-mobility agenda.”
Reflecting Emarat’s refreshed brand identity, the Al Buhaira station has been designed as a high-convenience hub, offering fuel, car care, food, and retail under one roof. Open 24 hours a day, the site serves nearby residential communities, schools, and last-mile delivery fleets, featuring services such as Freshplus, Bakeria & Café Arabica, a Lube Express, and on-site car wash facilities.
