ENOC, DEWA partner to develop hydrogen fueling project
Both parties signed a partnership at the World Government Summit 2023 in Dubai to study the creation a hydrogen station.
ENOC and Dubai Electricity & Water Authority (DEWA) have announced a cooperation project to study the development of a hydrogen fueling station.
The news was announced by both parties through their LinkedIn profiles, with the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding that took place at the World Government Summit 2023 in Dubai. The agreement aims at developing a cooperation partnership on a feasibility study to set up and operate a hydrogen fueling station.
“The project includes a feasibility study for building a hydrogen fueling station, contributing to achieving the goals of the Dubai Green Mobility Initiative 2030, which aims to stimulate the use of sustainable means of transportation, and supports the national hydrogen vehicle system,” confirmed ENOC through a LinkedIn post.
The initiative will leverage DEWA’s green hydrogen production facility located in the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Solar Park and the retailer’s know-how of the fuel market and its customers.
