ExtraMile franchisees gain digital ordering and delivery
The Chevron and Jacksons joint venture will let more than 1,200 convenience stores sell via DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, with inventory synced automatically across platforms.
ExtraMile Convenience Stores is offering online ordering and delivery to its network of more than 1,200 franchised stores in the United States. Franchisees who join can sell through DoorDash, Uber Eats and Grubhub, with their full in-store inventory going online automatically, which reduces the work for store teams.
ExtraMile, a joint venture between Chevron U.S.A. and Jacksons Food Stores, announced that it had selected Vroom Delivery as its provider fo the platform that connects online orders with each store's inventory, pricebook, loyalty program and back-office systems.
"At ExtraMile, we're always looking for ways to give our franchisees access to the tools that can help them grow their businesses," said Rob Falciani, Head of Marketing at ExtraMile.
He added: "Being convenient in 2026 means meeting customers on their terms, including those moments when they don't plan to visit a store. We believe there's a big opportunity ahead for franchisees to grow their online ordering and delivery business."
Instead of using one standard menu for every store, franchisees can list what is actually in stock at each location. Prices and stock levels stay in sync across marketplaces in real time, so when the last unit of an item sells on one app, it disappears from the others.
