Fastned opens first Liverpool charging hub as UK network grows to 40 sites
New ultra-rapid charging hub features eight charging bays, providing convenient access for a wide range of EV users.
Fastned has opened its first electric vehicle (EV) charging hub in Liverpool, bringing its UK network to 40 locations as the company continues to expand ultra-rapid charging infrastructure across the country.
The new site, located at Brunswick Business Park on Tower Street, near Sefton Street, features eight ultra-rapid charging bays and becomes Fastned’s first hub in the city. The chargers can deliver up to 400 kW of power, enabling compatible vehicles to add up to 200 miles (333 km) of range in as little as 10 minutes.
The Liverpool facility strengthens Fastned’s presence in the UK and is designed to serve local residents, businesses and visitors traveling through the region. Positioned close to the city centre and the Baltic Triangle district, the hub provides convenient access to charging for a wide range of EV users.

The company has been steadily growing its UK footprint as demand for public charging infrastructure increases alongside EV adoption. Many of its locations also offer access to nearby amenities such as food, refreshments and other services, helping improve convenience for drivers during charging stops.
