Flowco acquires Leighton O’Brien Field Services
Strategic acquisition unites fuel industry players to enhance maintenance, compliance and infrastructure performance across Australia and Southeast Asia.
Flowco Malaysia Sdn Bhd has acquired Leighton O’Brien Field Services Pty Ltd, marking a significant expansion into the Australian market and strengthening its portfolio of solutions for fuel retail.
The acquisition brings together Flowco’s regional scale and expertise in equipment supply and maintenance, with Leighton O’Brien’s deep domain knowledge in fuel system integrity testing and fuel cleaning. The move positions Flowco as the largest fuel services provider in the Asia Pacific, according to the company.
“This acquisition enables us to deepen our offering, expand our global footprint – including into Sri Lanka – and deliver greater value to fuel operators through our combined strengths,” said Omar Mohamed Said, Group CEO of Flowco Malaysia.
Leighton O’Brien Field Services operates a national network across Australia and provides a full suite of testing, cleaning, equipment maintenance and upgrade services and projects delivered by a team of 65 experienced technicians and a dedicated engineering and customer service team.
As part of the acquisition, Leighton O’Brien Field Services will continue to operate under its existing structure, with no changes to customer contacts, service arrangements or reporting systems.
