GSI Capital has expanded its footprint in Chile’s commercial real estate sector through the acquisition of Rentas y Desarrollo Baker, adding 95 commercial properties to its portfolio. The transaction includes 88 Aramco-branded service stations located across the country, from Arica to Punta Arenas, leased under long-term agreements to Esmax alongside other tenants.
The acquisition marks a significant step in the company’s growth strategy within the service station segment. Following this deal, GSI Capital surpassed 155 service stations acquired across the funds it manages, reinforcing its position in a specialized segment of Chile’s real estate market.
The company highlighted that the deal is part of a broader strategy centered on expanding its portfolio with income-generating assets tied to essential services, as it now aims to focus on operational execution and portfolio integration to deliver expected returns.
