HAM acquires 40% stake in Limagas Movilidad
The company will invest over the coming years in the development of the first Peruvian liquefied natural gas refueling stations.
Grupo HAM has acquired 40% of Limagas Movilidad S.A.C., a Peruvian company dedicated to the construction and management of natural gas refueling stations. The company also has other business lines such as the commercialisation of LNG for water, rail and mining transport.
With this new acquisition, HAM and Limagas reinforce their presence in Peru, developing an important growth strategy and taking advantage of the possibilities offered by Peru to promote the use of natural gas vehicles in the country.
Grupo HAM aims to become a benchmark in the Latin American energy sector, investing over the coming years in the development of the first Peruvian refueling stations for liquefied natural gas for long-distance transport, and compressed natural gas for cars, light vehicles and trucks.
"We continue working and innovating, in direct contact with our customers, betting on natural gas vehicles, with the aim of contributing to sustainable development through the design of efficient energy solutions that reduce the environmental impact from the choice of this eco-friendly fuel that reduces emissions of CO2, nitrous oxides and fine particulate matter," said the company in a press release.
Grupo HAM works in the integral service of CNG-LNG in industries, mobile-vehicular and maritime environments, offering multiple comprehensive services related to liquefied natural gas and compressed natural gas.
