HRS expands H2 refueling network with 7 new locations

These new additions include the company’s first station outside of Europe and its first 1-ton/day site.

French HRS continues to expand its network with the inauguration of seven new hydrogen (H2) stations in France and abroad.

The new sites have been deployed in just three months, at an average pace of one location every two weeks. By the end of September 2024, the company will have installed a total of 22 H2 refueling stations worldwide.

The company plans to install five additional locations by the end of the year, bringing its network up to a total of 27 refueling sites. These installations come with long-term maintenance contracts, which aim to generate recurring revenue in the years ahead.

The new additions to HRS’ refueling network include its first station installed outside Europe in Saudi Arabia, the first 1-ton/day station, two new Plug Power hydrogen stations in Spain, and more.

The company now has one of the largest installed bases of high-capacity stations on the market, with 22 stations from 200 kg/day to 1 tonne/day. All the stations' terminals are bi-pressure and equipped with 350-bar, 350-HF and 700-bar nozzles, meeting all the needs of hydrogen mobility.
