Jacksons adds cryptocurrency ATMs across network
The retailer has partnered with Bitcoin Depot to expand its services with 80 BTMs to be installed in its Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, California, Washington, and Arizona stores.
Jacksons Food Stores will install a total of 80 Bitcoin ATMs across its retail network. The roll out will be in charge of Bitcoin Depot after assuming a BTM contract from a competitor.
The fintech company will install over 80 of its BTMs into the chain’s locations in the coming months across Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Utah, California, Washington, and Arizona. The company now joins other retail chains such as GetGo Café + Market, FastLane and Kwik Trip, among others, that have implemented cryptocurrency solutions.
"This partnership with Jacksons Food Stores, one of the larger convenience store chains in the U.S., further exemplifies Bitcoin Depot’s leading market position and its ability to partner with key retailers in the convenience store industry that are looking for a reliable partner,” said Brandon Mintz, CEO and Founder of Bitcoin Depot.
Jacksons Food Stores was founded in 1975 by John D. Jackson as a single service station and has grown to become a nationally recognized chain of over 300 company-operated convenience stores. The company operates in Idaho, Nevada, Oregon, Washington, Arizona, California, and Utah under both Jacksons and ExtraMile brands.
