Love’s adds Florida location, renovates Oklahoma and Illinois stops
New Gretna site adds truck parking and EV-ready infrastructure as renovations enhance sites in Oklahoma and Illinois.
Love’s Travel Stops has expanded its U.S. network with a new location in Gretna, Florida, while completing renovations at existing sites in Oklahoma and Illinois. The newly opened travel stop, located off Interstate 10 at exit 174, adds capacity along a key freight corridor and supports drivers with additional parking and updated amenities.
The Gretna site includes 121 truck parking spaces, contributing to efforts to address the ongoing shortage of truck parking nationwide. According to the company, nearly 1,000 spaces have been added across its network so far in 2026. The location is positioned between existing stops in Cottondale and Lee, offering a new refueling and rest point for commercial drivers, RV users and motorists traveling through the Florida Panhandle.
The facility also incorporates space for future electric vehicle (EV) charging infrastructure, allowing Love’s to install chargers in partnership with utilities if demand increases. Additional features include multiple diesel bays, showers and areas for passenger vehicles and RVs, alongside food and retail services.
The company has also reopened updated locations in Elk City, Oklahoma, and Roscoe, Illinois, as part of its broader Road Ahead Plan. Renovations focused on improving layout efficiency and customer flow, alongside modernizing restrooms and retail spaces. In 2026, Love’s has completed upgrades at 18 sites and opened 10 new stores.
