Love’s continues expansion with new sites in Louisiana and Texas
The retailer has opened one new location in each state which adds a combined 127 truck parking spaces and 130 jobs in the cities of Mansfield and Harlingen.
Love’s Travel Stops has opened two locations in Mansfield, Louisiana, and Harlingen, Texa. The first one adds 80 jobs and 67 truck parking spaces while the second grows the retailer’s team with 50 new employees and 62 truck parking spaces.
The locations offer bean-to-cup gourmet coffee, brand-name snacks, Mobile to Go Zone shops and a dog park. Both sites also offer laundry services, five diesel bays, CAT scale and Godfather's Pizza restaurants. A Subway store is also opened exclusively for the Mansfield store.
“In adding a 19th location in Louisiana, and a 79th in Texas, Love’s is strengthening our commitment to bringing Highway Hospitality to well-traveled roads where customers need fast, friendly service. These new locations will give our customers the amenities they want in the safe, clean environments they expect from Love’s,” said Shane Wharton, president of Love’s.
In honor of the grand openings, the company will donate $2,000 to the Mansfield High School athletics department and $1,000 each to Harlingen High School and the City of Combes, Texas.
