MFG opens its 100th Greggs store
The company has been operating the brand since 2016 and will continue to expand this partnership throughout its retail network of over 1,200 locations in the UK.
Motor Fuel Group (MFG) has announced the opening of its 100th Greggs store across the company’s retail network.
The new store is located on one of MFG’s recently acquired Morrisons Daily forecourts in Totton, Southampton. Currently, the company is present at over 1,200 locations across the UK and continuously expanding.
“Since 2016, the Greggs brand and product offer has been a key part in the successful and growing food offer from our forecourts. 100 stores is an important milestone for us and I am confident that our partnership will continue to flourish,” said Paul Deary, food services director at MFG.
“We are delighted to be celebrating this milestone with our partners at MFG. We want Greggs to be accessible, wherever, whenever, and however our customers need us. By ensuring our shops are in the most convenient locations they can be. Our customers have a brilliant experience when they visit us on the move,” added Johnathan Glenister, head of franchise at Greggs.
Motor Fuel Group is continuing its expansion after acquiring 337 Morrisons petrol forecourts and more than 400 sites across the UK for ultra-rapid electric vehicle (EV) charging last May. The company is targeting the installation of 800 Ultra-Rapid 150kW EV chargers, in hubs, within the first five years alone.
