Morrisons extends partnership with Too Good To Go
Over 930 Morrisons Daily convenience stores now live on Too Good To Go across the UK.
Morrisons is extending its partnership with Too Good To Go so that customers can purchase 'Surprise Bags' from circ. 930 of its Morrisons Daily convenience stores to help combat food waste.
Following a successful trial in various locations across north England, the midlands and Wales, Morrisons is expanding its commitment to sustainability by listing Morrisons Daily convenience stores on Too Good To Go. During the trial, over 40,000 Surprise Bags were saved across the regions.
Customers simply download the Too Good To Go app, search for their nearest Morrisons Daily store, reserve Surprise Bags, and pick them up at a preset time.
“It saves customers money while also helping us to play our part in reducing food waste and hitting our sustainability target of achieving scope 3 net-zero operational emissions, so we are delighted to be rolling the bags out to some of our Morrisons Daily convenience stores,” says Andrew Edlin, Senior Sustainability Manager for Morrisons.
Food waste accounts for 10% of all human-caused greenhouse gas emissions worldwide.
