MOYA boosts sustainability across retail network
The owner of the chain has joined Poland’s largest organization of sustainable development leaders to support the development of sustainable solutions across its retail footprint.
Anwim, owner of the MOYA service station chain, has joined the Polish ESG Association, Poland's largest organization of sustainable development leaders.
Green transformation is one of the priority areas of the strategy of Anwim as the company will soon be building a network of fast-charging points for electric cars. The company has also been installing photovoltaic panels at stations for years and implementing many ESG activities in cooperation with NGOs.
The Polish ESG Association is the country's largest association of leaders of sustainable transformation: companies, organizations, institutions, local government units that actively implement ESG initiatives, creating a field for cooperation, exchange of ideas and joint development.
“The green revolution is already underway, and its course depends on the involvement of every entity in the socio-economic space, as well as each of us. Being a very dynamically developing company, we want to be a leader of change in all areas, including sustainable development," said Andrzej Kondys, Chief Operating Officer at MOYA and member of Anwim's Management Board.
Membership in the Association also means access to the latest legislative knowledge, reports and analyses related to the topic of sustainable development, as well as the opportunity to participate in debates and provide opinions on projects. A representative of the company will also become a member of the Council of ESG Innovators - a body composed of prominent practitioners of Polish business, who stand out for their knowledge and action for ESG development in their organizations and in Poland.
