MOYA operator Anwim opens its first electric truck charger

The 400 kW station at a MOYA site near Poland’s A1 motorway is the country’s ninth for heavy-duty EVs, with a second location planned in Radomsko.

Anwim has opened its first charging station for electric heavy-duty vehicles (eHDV) at the MOYA fuel station at ul. Raciborska 100 in Gorzyczki, Poland, near the A1 motorway. The liquid-cooled 400 kW charger can deliver its full power to a single truck and is the ninth charging station in the country dedicated to heavy transport.

The investment is part of the “Development of Moya Energia Charging Network in Poland” project, funded under the EU’s CEF AFIF call with support from CINEA. The project covers four heavy-duty charging points: two in Gorzyczki and two at Port Radomsko.

“In heavy transport, simply having a charger is not enough. What matters is its power, availability, location and the ability to fit charging into a vehicle’s daily operations,” said Paweł Grzywaczewski, Member of the Management Board of Anwim S.A. “For a carrier, downtime is part of the economics of the entire route.”

According to ACEA, electric trucks over 3.5 tonnes made up 4.8% of new EU registrations in the first half of 2026, up from 3.6% in 2025. “This means the transformation is not only about the vehicles themselves, but the entire transport and energy ecosystem,” said Rafał Pietrasina, President of the Management Board of Anwim S.A. “We are planning further openings of charging stations for heavy transport.”

The site is aimed at fleet operators and transport companies. Individual customers pay 2.49 zlotys (€0,57) per kWh while businesses can negotiate their own terms through the MOYA Firma program.
