The OMV petrol station network and the BILLA chain have launched a new format of cooperation. Together they are introducing another sales channel for fresh food - VIVA BILLA stores.

The first location of this format was opened by both partners at the "Strakonická" petrol station near Prague's Chuchle, and three more will be added in the Czech Republic by the end of this year. This recently launched format includes a completely new and clearly recognisable style with a specially designed logo on the totem.

Customers will find over 1,100 items, including the chain's private labels. The brand will deliver food to OMV petrol stations 3 times a week, directly from the central warehouse in Modletice near Prague.

"Thanks to the precise design of the entire concept, we were not limited by anything when choosing the assortment for the VIVA BILLA store and decided to bet primarily on freshness, which is also the basis for our overall VIVA concept. The result is a comprehensive food offer adapted to the requirements of Czech customers," comments Daniel Vasilache, CEO of OMV.

Customers of OMV petrol stations with a VIVA BILLA store will continue to find a full range of desirable and freshly prepared sandwiches and other snacks, including the fairtrade coffee made from freshly ground beans, on permanent offer. The interior will be complemented by an relaxing zone for drivers on the move in the spirit of the OMV VIVA concept.
