OnTurtle expands HVO refueling network to Germany

The company has opened 26 new locations that offer the biofuel in partnership with Hoyer.

OnTurtle has announced the expansion of its refueling network for hydrotreated vegetable oil (HVO) to Germany, opening 26 new locations in collaboration with Hoyer to grow its international station network.

These new additions bring the total number of the company’s refueling stations offering the biofuel across Europe to fifty, complementing existing locations in the Netherlands, Austria, and Spain. The German stations are operated under the Hoyer brand, a local partner of the Spanish firm.

The new facilities are strategically located near major cities such as Hannover, Hamburg, Berlin, and Munich, as well as key areas for professional transport.

This expansion aligns with Germany’s efforts to promote decarbonization policies in professional transport through biofuels. It builds on the official regulation for HVO refueling at service stations in the country, which was approved in March 2024.

OnTurtle launched its international HVO network in 2023, and since then, its customers have been able to refuel the biofuel at stations in the Netherlands, Austria, and Spain. With this expansion into Germany, the company has doubled its number of supply points to better serve its customers.
