Petrolimex, Ohmee debut convenience stores at Hanoi stations
The companies have launched the first two Ohmee Express stores at Petrolimex service stations in Hanoi, introducing a convenience retail model designed to combine fueling, shopping and on-the-go services.
Petrolimex and Ohmee Vietnam have opened the first two Ohmee Express convenience stores at Petrolimex service stations in Hanoi, marking the start of a partnership aimed at expanding retail services at fuel locations across Vietnam.
According to the companies, the locations will serve as pilot sites to test product offerings, operating processes and customer experience before a broader rollout. The concept targets commuters, ride-hailing drivers, long-distance transport operators and families traveling within and between cities.
“Today marks the official launch of Ohmee Express, signalling a new chapter in Ohmee’s strategic partnership with Petrolimex,” said Nguyen Thi Thu Ha, Chairwoman of Ohmee Vietnam as reported by Vietnam+. “Together, we aim to build a modern and comprehensive ecosystem of convenience services for consumers across Vietnam.”
The launch represents the first international deployment of the Ohmee Express format, developed as part of the overseas expansion strategy of China's Meiyijia convenience store chain. Founded in 1997, Meiyijia operates more than 40,000 stores across China.
Vietnam became Ohmee's first international market in April 2026. As of early September, the company operated 35 stores across Hanoi and several northern provinces.
