Prestige Car Wash adds 5 Ernie’s Car Wash locations

The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s growth strategy in the U.S., bringing its total number of operating sites to 23.

Prestige Car Wash is expanding its footprint with the acquisition of five Ernie’s Car Wash locations in the Worcester area. The move marks a significant milestone in the company’s statewide growth strategy, bringing its total number of operating sites to 23, and setting the stage for 34 locations by the end of 2025.

“The acquisition of Ernie’s Car Wash locations aligns with our growth goals and allows us to serve our customers in new, convenient areas. We’re excited to introduce the Prestige experience to more communities, beginning with Worcester,” said Tony DeBarros, Director of Operations at Prestige Car Wash.

Founded in 2006, Prestige Car Wash’s offering includes exterior washes, complimentary vacuum stations, and access to its popular VIP Wash Club, which provides members with flexible use across all locations.

The newly acquired sites add both reach and experience to the Prestige network. Ernie’s Car Wash, a family-owned business founded in 1976, brings with it a strong customer following and a seasoned local team, both of which will be integrated into Prestige’s operations.

With long-term plans to grow to 100 locations across Massachusetts, Prestige Car Wash is positioning itself as a major player in the region’s car wash market.
