Quickie acquires Little Short Stop convenience chain
A total of 26 convenience stores located in Ontario will now be part of the Macewen-owned chain.
Quickie has acquired the operations of the Little Short Stop convenience store brand. The company will now own a retail network comprising 26 locations across southwestern Ontario.
Founded in 1967 by Paul Arnold with four convenience stores, Little Short Stop is a family-owned and operated chain. Quickie, the convenience store arm of Macewen, identifies the brand as well-aligned with its vision and core values, including community involvement, product selection, and putting the local feel and a friendly shopping experience front and center.
Macewen will integrate the acquired stores to enhance the Quickie retail experience through updates, product innovation, and technology.
