Raceway Car Wash acquires WaterWorks Express Wash in California
The brand has extended its footprint across the state to nine locations and its total network throughout the country to 39 car washes.
Raceway Car Wash has announced the acquisition of WaterWorks Express Car Wash in California. The purchase has expanded the brand’s reach to 39 locations across four states as well as its ninth car wash location in the state.

We look forward to continuing the growth that the WaterWorks team has put in motion. We are committed to continuing to expand and develop our presence in the California market. This addition is another step in that direction," said Andrew Schell, COO and Director of Acquisitions at Raceway.
The company first entered the Southern California market in 2016 with the acquisition of the firm’s namesake location in the city of Fontana. The addition of an express car wash in Santa Ana, a flex car wash in La Quinta, and four express sites in the Fresno market soon followed.
Raceway also developed and operates one express car wash in South Lake Tahoe, Ca. under its Sierra Car Wash brand. This acquisition brings the company’s portfolio to 39 locations throughout Arizona, Nevada, California, and Texas.
