Sheetz to open 50 new EV charging stations
The retailer is collaborating with IONNA to open Rechargeries across the brand’s network up to 50 locations by 2026.
Sheetz is continuing to expand its electric vehicle (EV) charging capabilities by partnering with IONNA to establish new charging locations throughout its network.
The charging network founded by BMW, General Motors, Honda, Hyundai, Mercedes-Benz, Kia, Stellantis and Toyota, will open EV Rechargeries at three of the retailer’s locations in late December. These new sites will be built in Springfield & Willoughby, Ohio, and Scranton, Pennsylvania.

Our collaboration with IONNA has rapidly enabled us to bring more advanced charging options to our customers, demonstrating the power of innovation in delivering seamless, future-focused services," said Trevor Walter, EVP of petroleum supply management at Sheetz.
Currently, the chain aims to grow its footprint up to 1,000 locations by 2028. This collaboration will grow as well, with the two companies committing to 50 Rechargeries by the end of 2026.
In addition, incentives and loyalty programs for IONNA and Sheetz patrons are scheduled to roll out in 2025.
