USA: Nouria Energy unveils first fully branded forecourt

Amidst the rapid expansion of its network across the country, the company has rebranded its 166th location and aims to become a top-tier fuel supplier.

Nouria Energy Corp. has unveiled its first fully branded forecourt as part of its plans to develop a cohesive brand identity. The new service station, which is also equipped with a branded convenience store, has opened recently in Wareham, Massachusetts.

In a recent interview published in its website, nouria has opened the doors of its site to showcase its first step in positioning as one of the top-tier fuel suppliers across the country. The newest location marks the retailer’s 166th location overall amidst its rapid expansion strategy to amp its network.

“We wanted to ensure brand consistency throughout our locations starting from the street sign and canopy to the store’s interior. Our new nouria brand represents a new positioning strategy for our company. This is a critical step in our evolution as a vibrant and relevant retail brand because consumers’ wants, needs and shopping habits are perpetually changing,” said  Joe Hamza, Chief Operating Officer, Retail and Marketing for nouria in the interview by Convenience Store News.

The company has been rebranding its stores to the nouria brand over the past five years. This has been accompanied by the development of proprietary brands such as My Nouria line of CPG products or Café Nouria. The firm intends to create a family of value products to complement the national branded products.

The recently opened location consists of 5,600 square feet of store space, occupying 1.5 acres of developed space. It has a total of 12 fueling pumps and two electric vehicle charging stations available outdoors. Inside the store one can find different offers customised to reflect the needs of local customers and the competitive environment. It also includes a café area with 26 seats and an Amato restaurant.

Nouria Energy aims to open new fully branded sites through the year while more locations are still in development.
