Vivo Energy Kenya has opened its 336th Shell service station, continuing its steady growth in the country’s fuel and convenience retail landscape. The new site, Shell Imara Daima, is strategically located along Mombasa Road in Nairobi and brings enhanced service offerings to one of the city’s busiest corridors.
The latest addition reflects the company’s ongoing focus on customer experience, blending traditional fueling services with modern convenience. The station includes a Shell Select shop, Java House café, Goodlife Pharmacy, and Purpink gift shop, positioning it as a multi-service destination.
Arnaud Guichard, Executive Vice President of Retail and Commercial at Vivo Energy, highlighted the broader significance of the expansion, stating that each new station signals not just growth in footprint but also Vivo Energy’s commitment to innovation and partnership. “Shell is more than a fuel stop — it’s a one-stop shop built around customer needs,” he said.
Vivo Energy Kenya’s Managing Director, Peter Murungi, emphasized the station’s role in showcasing the company’s latest fuel technologies. The site features Shell’s enhanced FuelSave formulation, which promises up to 15 extra kilometres per tank, alongside the performance-focused Shell V-Power fuel.
Beyond customer convenience, the opening also underscores Vivo Energy’s contribution to job creation and local economic development. The company views the new station as a symbol of its vision to lead the region’s energy sector through quality, service, and innovation.
