Vivo Energy Kenya has launched a new model Shell service station on Dennis Pritt Road in Nairobi’s Kilimani area, introducing a retail-focused concept designed to serve as a motorist destination hub. The site aims to combine fuel services with convenience retail and additional amenities, reflecting the company’s strategy to expand and modernize its network in Kenya.

The Shell Dennis Pritt station offers fuels, lubricants and LPG under the Afrigas brand, alongside a convenience store operated by ArtCaffe Market and a quick service restaurant. The facility also includes a lubricant bay, car wash and a pharmacy, positioning it as a multi-purpose location for everyday consumer needs.

Vivo Energy Group CEO Stan Mittelman said: “By providing quality services tailored to the needs of customers on-site, the multi-purpose forecourt is increasingly becoming a retail hub or a ‘one-stop-shop’, which customers use regularly to meet their everyday needs.” He added that the company is continuing to invest in modern sites to deliver improved convenience and customer experience.

The development aligns with Vivo Energy’s broader Africa-wide retail strategy, focused on strengthening market presence and responding to growing demand. Mittelman noted the company is expanding its network while introducing new fuels, loyalty programs and enhanced safety standards.

Managing Director Peter Murungi highlighted rising demand for both fuel and non-fuel services, stating: “At all our more than 340 Shell service stations in Kenya, we aim to make sure that our customers’ experience goes beyond just fueling.”
