ACMobility, Shell open eight EV charging hubs across Philippines
Both companies plan to expand to 50 stations with more than 100 charge points nationwide.
ACMobility and Shell Pilipinas Corporation have opened eight electric vehicle charging hubs at Shell Mobility stations across the Philippines, extending fast-charging access beyond Metro Manila to major highways and provincial routes.
The rollout stems from a partnership signed in September 2025, under which ACMobility has been installing DC fast chargers at Shell sites nationwide. The latest hubs launched this month along the North Luzon Expressway in Pampanga, serving traffic bound for Baguio City and La Union as well as travelers returning to the capital.
"As we ramp up our efforts to build the Philippine EV Spine, we are grateful to have Shell as our partner in advancing the country towards sustainable mobility," said Carla Buencamino, ACMobility Head of Mobility Infrastructure, adding that the partnership links major routes across Luzon, Visayas and Mindanao.
"By combining our complementary strengths, we'll be able to serve the country's growing community of EV drivers," said Jolo Valdez, Non-Fuel Retail and E-Mobility Manager for Shell Mobility.
The eight new hubs span Pampanga, Zambales, Pangasinan and Davao City. ACMobility and Shell plan to expand to 50 stations with more than 100 charge points nationwide, with sites in Pampanga, Cavite and Camarines Sur set to open soon and further hubs planned for Batangas, Bataan and Cebu.
