Adani Total Gas, Jio-bp to combine fuel offerings across India
Strategic alliance aims to enhance access to high-quality fuels by integrating CNG and liquid fuel services at select outlets.
Adani Total Gas Limited (ATGL) and Jio-bp have announced a new partnership aimed at elevating the auto fuel retail experience for Indian consumers.
The agreement enables both companies to offer each other’s fuel products across select outlets, blending their strengths to provide a wider range of high-performance energy solutions. As part of the collaboration, Jio-bp’s liquid fuels will be made available at selected ATGL stations. In return, ATGL will install compressed natural gas (CNG) dispensing units at specific Jio-bp locations, primarily within the company’s authorized geographical areas.
The agreement spans both current and future retail locations, combining ATGL’s network of approximately 650 CNG stations with Jio-bp’s 2,000-plus fuel outlets.
“We are united by a shared vision to offer our customers a superior selection of high-quality fuels,” said Sarthak Behuria, Chairman of Jio-bp. Suresh P. Manglani, Executive Director and CEO of ATGL, echoed the sentiment, noting that the alliance will create a more comprehensive fuel ecosystem. “This partnership will enable us to leverage each other’s infrastructure, thus enhancing customer experience and offerings,” he said.
ATGL, a joint venture between Adani Group and TotalEnergies, is one of India’s leading city gas distributors, supplying natural gas to residential, industrial, commercial, and transportation customers. Jio-bp, a joint venture between Reliance Industries and bp, is known for its expanding footprint in mobility solutions, including fuel retail, low-carbon energy alternatives, and modern convenience offerings.
The partnership is expected to improve fuel accessibility for motorists and transport operators, while also supporting the broader energy transition with a mix of conventional and cleaner fuels.
