Aral launches new formula for its Ultimate Diesel
The new formula contains at least 15% of a renewable hydrogenated fuel component and achieves a CO2 saving of 12% compared to pure fossil diesel.
In the year of its 100th brand anniversary, Aral is introducing a new formula for its high-performance fuel Ultimate Diesel.
This innovation is part of the company’s history of developing high-quality fuels, starting in 1924 with the invention of the world's first super fuel. Developed at its own research center in Bochum, the fuel complies with DIN EN 590 and can be used in all approved engines and vehicles.
“Although the number of electric vehicles is growing, there will still be combustion vehicles on German roads for many years to come. We will continue to meet the needs of our customers with various high-quality fuels, ultra-fast charging and an attractive convenience offering with our REWE To Go stores,” said Achim Bothe, CEO of Aral AG.
The new Aral Ultimate Diesel contains at least 15% of a hydrogenated renewable component (HVO) and achieves CO2 savings of 12% compared to pure fossil diesel.
The company plans to introduce the new Aral Ultimate Diesel at more than 1,500 locations across Germany.
