Avia launches pay at the pump service in Poland
The retailer has partnered with the Spark app to ease the customer experience across its fuel retail network.
Avia has launched contactless payment service at the pump across its service station network in Poland. Customers who finish refueling their cars will need to access the Spark app to quickly pay using a QR code and then automatically receive an e-fiscal receipt or e-invoice.
Spark is a platform for fast and convenient payments with multiple options. Users can pay for fuel at the station as well as paying e-TOLL highway tickets or make a donation to a selected charity organization .
The service is available at Avia stations located in Grzegorzewo, Małkinia, Poznań (Juraszów) and Gorzów Wielkopolski, and is to be expanded into more sites in the near future.
“Our goal is to make Avia stations as customer-friendly as possible. Some of them expect an extensive store offer, while others just want to refuel and pay quickly. This will now be possible right at the pump, thanks to cooperation with our partner Spark system and application provider," said Robert Nowek, Managing Director of the Avia network in Poland and Ukraine.
Avia’s fuel retail network in Poland is being developed by the Unimot Group and already has over 110 locations across the country. Unimot is also developing cooperation with the SPAR chain, launching more SPAR Express stores alongside service stations.
