Ballenoil reaches 300 locations in Spain

The company has opened more than 20 new stations, maintaining a rapid growth rate of over two new sites per week.

Ballenoil, the fuel retailer acquired last year by Moeve, has reached a significant milestone, surpassing 300 locations with the recent openings in Spain.

So far in 2025, the company has opened more than 20 new stations, maintaining a rapid growth rate of over two new sites per week. At this pace, Ballenoil expects to close the year with more than 370 locations.

Among its latest expansions, the brand has entered Navarra with a new station in Beriáin, near Pamplona, and made its debut in the province of Granada.

Ballenoil was founded in 2010 as a small chain of car wash centers under the brand La Ballena Azul. It quickly moved towards automated fuel dispensers competing on low prices.

Following its integration into Moeve, Ballenoil has become the group's flagship brand in the low-cost fuel segment. Looking ahead, the company has set an ambitious expansion plan, aiming to reach 500 locations by 2027.
