Copec earns global recognition for sustainability performance
Company listed in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2026, joining a select group of top‑ranked firms worldwide.
Copec has been included in S&P Global’s Sustainability Yearbook 2026 in the “Sustainability Yearbook Member” category, placing the company among the strongest global performers in corporate sustainability. This year, only 848 companies out of more than 9,200 evaluated worldwide were selected.
The recognition follows Copec’s first voluntary participation in the Corporate Sustainability Assessment (CSA) in 2025, one of the most rigorous and internationally respected benchmarks for ESG performance. The Yearbook identifies companies across 59 industries that rank within the top 15% of their sector and remain within 30% of the industry leader’s score.
In its first CSA assessment, the company scored 65 out of 100 points, based on three dimensions: environmental (29%), social (36%), and economic and governance (35%).
Arturo Natho, CEO of Copec S.A., said: “Being part of the Sustainability Yearbook 2026 confirms that our sustainability strategy is delivering measurable results that are comparable at an international level. We voluntarily participated in this assessment with the conviction that taking a long-term view when making our business decisions is the right way to manage our environmental and social risks, thereby contributing to the development of Chile and its people.”
Copec continues integrating ESG criteria across its operations, serving more than one million people daily at service stations and providing energy solutions to 64,000 industrial customers throughout Chile.
