CUBOS acquires TotalEnergies’ B2B charging business in Germany
Deal adds customers, employees and charging assets to CUBOS, boosting its portfolio to more than 15,000 charge points across Germany.
CUBOS has acquired the B2B charging infrastructure business of TotalEnergies in Germany, including its customer base and employees, further strengthening its position in the country's electric vehicle (EV) charging market.
The transaction marks CUBOS’ third acquisition in six months, following the integration of SWARCO’s and ChargeOne’s charging businesses. With the latest deal, the company says its portfolio now exceeds 15,000 charge points, more than 1,000 B2B customers and a workforce of 500 specialists.
The acquisition expands the company’s presence in the corporate charging segment and supports its broader growth strategy as demand for EV infrastructure continues to increase across Germany.
For customers, the operator said the priority will be ensuring a smooth transition while expanding access to a broader range of services. These include charging hardware and software, photovoltaic systems, battery storage solutions and technical support provided by in-house teams.
According to CUBOS, the goal is to transform charging installations into integrated energy systems, combining charging infrastructure with on-site energy generation and storage to improve efficiency and reduce operating costs.
