CUPRA introduces in-car parking payment feature with Parkopedia
The feature is designed to simplify the parking process by allowing drivers to avoid traditional payment challenges.
SEAT and Parkopedia have launched an in-car payment system for parking in CUPRA vehicles. This functionality, called 'Park & Pay,' is now available in the CUPRA Born and Tavascan models equipped with the CUPRA Navi system, enabling drivers to make parking payments directly from their car.
The feature is designed to simplify the parking process by allowing drivers to avoid traditional payment challenges such as locating parking machines, dealing with malfunctioning equipment, or managing payment issues like lack of change or card errors. Powered by Parkopedia, the service utilizes a comprehensive parking location database and a secure payment platform, covering both on-street and off-street parking locations across 17 European countries.
SEAT plans to extend this feature to the remaining CUPRA and SEAT model ranges in 2025, aiming to meet the growing demand for in-car payment solutions among European drivers.
