El Car Wash has expanded into the Mid-Atlantic region through the acquisition of Canton Car Wash, a leading operator in the Baltimore metropolitan area. The deal includes six operating locations and a development pipeline, giving the Miami-based company immediate scale in a new market as it continues its multi-region growth strategy across the United States.

With the transaction, El Car Wash surpasses 100 locations nationwide, combining acquisitions and new site development to increase density in targeted metropolitan areas. The entry into Baltimore is seen as a step toward broader expansion across the Mid-Atlantic and Northeast, regions characterized by high population density and relatively limited car wash penetration.

Geoff Karas, CEO and Co-Founder of El Car Wash, said: “Canton's founders have built one of the highest-quality platforms in our industry, one that is defined by an elevated customer experience, premium locations, and a strong people-centric culture.” He added, “The Mid-Atlantic and Northeast US are some of the most densely populated and underserved car wash geographies.”

The acquisition underscores ongoing consolidation in the car wash sector, where operators are pursuing scale and regional density to improve efficiency and customer reach.
