Enefit and Olerex expand joint EV charging network across Estonia
Enefit set to install 57 additional chargers at Olerex service stations across Estonia.
Enefit and Olerex are deepening their long-running partnership on EV charging infrastructure, with Enefit set to install 57 additional chargers at Olerex service stations across Estonia. The new units will range in capacity from 47 to 300 kilowatts, and the two companies will also integrate their payment systems.
"Together with Olerex, we are bringing even more powerful and reliable charging solutions to locations that people already visit and pass through as part of their daily routines," said Robert Kutsar, Head of E-Mobility Business Development at Enefit.
Olerex has been Enefit's largest fuel-retail partner in building out charging infrastructure since 2014, when 17 chargers were installed under Estonia's ELMO electromobility programme. The next phase will prioritise fast chargers at key transport hubs nationwide, with new charging points planned in all 15 Estonian counties, including the islands.
"Fast chargers are becoming as commonplace at Olerex stations as coffee machines," said Antti Moppel, Board Member of Olerex.
Drivers will be able to start charging sessions via the Olerex mobile app in addition to Enefit's own app or charging card, while all new chargers will include card payment terminals, removing the need for an account.
Olerex owns one of the most modern fuel terminals in the Baltic states, has more than 100 service stations across Estonia.
