Enilive and SPAR Austria expand forecourt store network
Partnership to deliver 70 new Italian-inspired convenience stores across Austria by 2028.
Enilive Austria and SPAR Austria are deepening their collaboration to expand the presence of DESPAR Express forecourt stores nationwide.
Building on a successful pilot phase, the partners plan to open around 70 new locations by 2028, providing motorists with convenient access to fresh groceries and Italian-inspired snacks around the clock. Following the launch of initial stores in Vienna, Salzburg, and Graz, the next DESPAR Express outlets will open this June in Ybbs, Vienna, and Steyr.
Each site offers a selection of approximately 1,500 products within a compact, modern retail space, ranging from ready-to-eat snacks to fresh ingredients for home cooking.

Inside, the DESPAR Express stores echo the look and feel of a small Italian supermarket. Warm finishes, open layouts, and natural materials like wood and marble decor create a welcoming atmosphere for quick shopping trips or a coffee break.
Enilive Austria currently operates more than 320 branded petrol stations across the country and offers HVOlution biofuel at 43 sites. The expanded DESPAR Express rollout is set to strengthen its retail presence while delivering greater convenience and sustainable options to customers on the move.
