Fastned’s fast charging stations reach 250 locations across Europe
The company opened two new sites in France and the UK in line with its plans of reaching 1,000 stations by 2030.
Fastned has surpassed the mark of 250 fast charging stations across Europe with the recent addition of two locations to its network, one in France and one in the UK.
The openings solidify even further the mission of the company’s founders of accelerating the transition to electric mobility by building 1,000 fast charging stations by 2030. The company was founded over ten years ago in the Netherlands and has expanded its network to five additional countries by now: France, the UK, Germany, Switzerland, and Belgium.
The achievement of this milestone underlines the relevance of the goals set by its founders, Michiel Langezaal and Bart Lubbers, over ten years ago when the transition to electric mobility was still at its very beginning.
“We are not just building a network of large fast charging stations at high traffic locations, we are building a better, cleaner future for all. We want electric driving to be as easy as possible for people, and with our reliable, fast charging infrastructure, we're making an important contribution,” said Michiel Langezaal, CEO of Fastned.
Fastned will keep up with this growth and aims to have 1,000 large stations at high-traffic locations operational by 2030.
